This is the third cultural extravaganza being hosted by the Indonesian Women Association along with the Indonesian Embassy, and is held in their grounds, all in aid of victims of Indonesian natural disasters. It promises to be an interesting and exciting day out for everyone – the Indonesian community of Abu Dhabi are bringing a wealth of performances, crafts and food to the grounds of the Embassy of Indonesia (villa 474 on Sultan bin Zayed, 32nd street, between 17th and 19th streets).
Highlights of the day include traditional music and dances, an Indonesian national dress fashion show, Indonesian handicrafts to buy, tasty Indonesian food, an open auction, a raffle and door prizes. Highly recommended is the Batik making workshop; it’s free but numbers are limited so arrive early to ensure your place.
From 10am to 3pm, entrance is AED 10, children under 12 are free. For more information call 050 458 4790 or email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
