This is the perfect opportunity to find out more about what they do, their 2010 challenges and the charities they’re supporting. 24th March: Abu Dhabi Ladies is throwing a garden party at the Hiltonia Garden. Apart from good food, gossip and giggles, there’ll be prizes for the best Easter bonnet. 15th April: The Canadian Business Council is pleased to invite members and friends to their 7th annual charity gala dinner at Hiltonia Beach Garden. This year, groove to the tunes of Canadian cover band “The Bee Gees”, as well as enjoy a four-course dinner with a full programme of competitions, games and a silent auction. Strays of Abu Dhabi is having an “Art lovers Auction” with all proceeds going to their non-profit organisation. Come and enjoy the work of 51 international artists with varying styles. 30th April:
The 4th Annual Strays of Abu Dhabi (SAD) Ball will take place at the Crowne Plaza, Yas Island.  Sixty percent of SAD’s funding comes from this event so your attendance won’t go unnoticed. This year follows a masquerade theme – so don’t forget to don animal masks! There will also be a disco, silent auction, and a raffle with amazing prices. St Andrews Church is still on the lookout for any unwanted goods for a special collection to be donated to the safe houses and labour camps in Abu Dhabi. Donated items will be distributed just prior to Easter. Suggested items include: Bedding, Towels, Toiletries, Feminine, hygiene products, Cooking oil, rice, noodles, Other non-perishable food items.
