Creamfields is coming to Abu Dhabi. Flash Entertainment has announced that the first-ever Creamfields Abu Dhabi will become the exclusive regional host city as the dance festival arrives in the capital on 11th December.

For one night only, Creamfields will brings the best in international and regional dance talent to the capital. Flash is still working on the specific details, but says that festival-goers will be able to move freely between a giant live outdoor stage and a number of DJ arenas hosted by some of the best DJs from the dance music scene.  
“To be staging the capitals first multi-stage outdoor dance festival is tremendously exciting not only for Flash, but also for music fans across the region,” said Flash MD John Lickrish. “Creamfields is the ultimate dance festival with a globally recognised brand and a worldwide following. Hosting Creamfields Abu Dhabi will ensure that the city instantly becomes recognised as a key destination on the dance festival circuit and we are proud to be making
this happen.”

The Creamfields festival was launched in the UK in 1998 as a spin-off from the top Liverpool club Cream and has become the world’s top outdoor electronic music festival. It has built its reputation on attracting the world’s top DJs as well as its unique set-up – a main stage with multiple tents offering different dance music genres.

Other Creamfields festivals have been held in Istanbul, Rabat, Moscow, Prague and Santiago among other destinations. Creamfields has also won a number of music awards including Best Dance Festival in 2004 and 2005 in the UK Festival Awards and was voted Festival Event of the Year in the House Music Awards 2005.

Ticket details for Creamfields Abu Dhabi 2009 are yet to be announced.
