The Health Authority – Abu Dhabi (HAAD) has launched a new electronic sick leave Attestation System, e-sick leaves. Effective from 1st March all licensed healthcare professionals in the Emirate are mandated to issue sick leaves through the new Electronic Attestation System of Sick Leaves. The e-system will automatically approve all short-term sick leave periods (under seven days) while sick leaves for more than seven days require review and attestation by the Medical Committee.
