Petrolheads across the globe turned their eyes toward Abu Dhabi this week, as Lamborghini’s latest supercar made its public debut.
The Italian sportscar manufacturer unveiled the Veneno Roadster to the waiting world in a suitably impressive location – aboard an Italian navy aircraft carrier docked in the UAE capital.
The extreme sports car is priced at AED 16.5 million, with only four slated for construction. One will be showcased in the Lamborghini museum in Modena, Italy, while one of the others has already been purchased by an anonymous UAE-based motor enthusiast.
The roadster has an impressive 750hp from its 6.5-litre V12 engine and an acceleration of 0-100kph in a mere 2.9 seconds, topping out at 355kph.
