Food lovers in the capital are sizzling with excitement following the announcement of a new mega food festival.
Taste of Abu Dhabi, a jam-packed al fresco food, drink and music festival, will take over du Arena on Yas Island as both celebrity and local chefs from some of the capital’s signature restaurants pull out all the stops for the flavourful feast.
Hosted by Turret Media, the festival will give eager food lovers the chance to sample tasty creations from the city’s top professionals, explore local restaurants and enjoy live entertainment.
“After seven successful years of Taste of Dubai, we’re very excited to be bringing this popular event to the capital,” said Chris Fountain, managing director at Turret Media.
“Taste of Abu Dhabi is set to be a memorable event perfect for any food-lover with plenty to see, do, cook and, of course, eat. The premise of Taste festivals is to spend a fantastic day with friends and family, tasting the finest food from the city’s best restaurants, an award-winning format that is unique to Taste events.”
Aside from a plethora of food and beverage suppliers offering up tasty samples, guests can learn from the masters at the Cookery School, where leading chefs will be giving hands-on sessions, free of charge. Visit the Chefs’ Theatre for a culinary masterclass, featuring question and answer sessions and cooking tutorials with the likes of French Master Patissier and TV personality, Eric Lanlard.
The little ones will be kept entertained at the Kid’s Zone, while over at the music stage, live entertainment will keep the energy flowing. The Taste VIP Lounge will offer guests a place to retreat, with comfortable seating and a private bar.
Billed as the world’s favourite outdoor food festival, 19 Taste events are currently held in cities across the UK, Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Australia.
Taste of Abu Dhabi will be fired up from 6th to 8th November at du Arena, Yas Island.
