Nearly 80 girls from the 1st, 2nd and 3rd units of Brownies in Abu Dhabi gathered for centennial celebrations recenly. Organised by the British Guides in Foreign Countries, which was established in the capital 45 years ago, the event took the girls through the past, present and future of the Brownies. Children aged seven to ten put their creative talents to the test, making rice sock puppets, painting brown owls, playing croquet and going on a treasure hunt.
