The Canadian Business Council celebrated its 11th Annual Maple Leaf Ball recently, with Malcolm and Carol Milne receiving this year’s recognition award for their contribution to the UAE economy and to the Canada-UAE business relationship. Le Royal Méridien Abu Dhabi hosted the event with special live entertainment from band The Boxtones. The event also raised money via raffle prizes and silent auctions that will go towards The Terry Fox Foundation. Guests enjoyed a delicious three-course meal which, of course, incorporated some Canadian favourites.
