Singers, dancers and a variety of other performers will need to make sure their acts are polished, as celebrity guests await their performances at two gala dinners.

The SmallWorld Talent contest taking place throughout May, will showcase the best of local talent with the winner performing in front of international celebrities.

This unique contest invites UAE residents to submit their videos online, showcasing their specialty to a panel of judges from organisers, SmallWorld.

SmallWorld is an Abu Dhabi-based charity, set up to help generate awareness for child related issues around the world and raise funds in collaboration with the UAE Red Crescent. And this competition sees the winner performing at one of the charity’s annual gala dinners.

The Great Gatsby Gala dinner on 27th November and the SmallWorld Grand Event on the 28th November are two dinners open to the public to attend. Previous years have seen the likes of Ricky Martin and Lebanese star Majida El Roumi attend as guests, with this year’s dinners also set to feature celebrities from the industry.

Entrants over 17-years-old or older must submit their videos online by 3rd May. The panel will then select their favourites with a third and final round taking place in the form of a live show event – this again is open for the public to attend.
