Resident foodies and visitors in the capital will be able to enjoy a variety of new dining options at the city’s upcoming Venetian Village. To be debuted in the capital later this year as part of the Ritz Carlton Grand Canal development, the mixed-use space will feature five debut-dining concepts.

Guests will be able to dine al fresco at this waterfront property, which has been designed with Venice in mind. Restaurants from both international and local designers will feature food from renowned outlets around the world.

Celebrity Chef Todd English (pictured) is set to open up Olives, a Mediterranean eatery that first debuted in the US.

For guests wanting to sample local cuisine, Al Fanar Restaurant & Café, will offer up authentic Emirati cuisine. The restaurant, which already has an outlet in Dubai, will feature traditional interiors with antique artefacts.

Fans of Japanese cuisine should check out Inakaya, a traditional robata grill restaurant that will feature trained grill masters who will cook their creations in flames before serving diners via long wooden paddles.

Visitors looking for an energetic night out can check out Barfly, a two-storey restaurant and lounge concept. Diners wanting to indulge in a delicious French meal can try Brasserie Flo, which was founded in Paris in 1968.

“We are thrilled to welcome these exceptional chefs and restaurants to Abu Dhabi. Guests will have an array of excellent dining and entertainment options to choose from, with something for every palate and to suit every mood.” said Julide Ozbilge Nuss, manager of Food and Beverages Assets – Abu Dhabi National Hotels (ADNH).

The ADNH project will also house a separate parking structure that can accommodate 300 plus spots and the Ritz Carlton spa.
