An EidFest concert will take place at du Forum, Yas Island to mark the end of the Holy Month of Ramadan and celebrate Eid Al-Fitr.
The lineup for the event, on Saturday 10th August, includes Arab musical talent Rabeh Saqer, Yara and Hussain Al Jassmi.
Famous Lebanese pop singer Yara is the opening act. It’s expected that Yara will perform some of her well-known songs including ‘Hob Kbeer’ and ‘Twassa Feyi’. After Yara’s 45-minute set, next up will be legendary Saudi Arabian artist Rabeh Saqer.
UAE superstar and X-Factor Arabia judge, Hussain Al Jassmi, is headlining and he will perform an hour-long set featuring the biggest hits from his four best-selling albums.
The star-studded fully seated indoor concert is part of the emirate’s 52-day SummerFest Abu Dhabi festival.
“This year’s SummerFest Abu Dhabi is our longest seasonal extravaganza to date and we wanted something special to usher in Eid Al-Fitr,” said Sultan Al Muhairi, manager of SummerFest Abu Dhabi. “Having three of the biggest names in regional music perform a one-off concert in the air-conditioned du Forum provides that. Music fans can expect a night of world-class performers singing classic after classic.”
Eidfest doors open at 8pm and there are three ticket categories: VIP costs AED 495, Premium costs AED 350 and A Reserve tickets cost AED 200. Tickets will be available online at: www.summerfestabudhabi.ae and: www.ticketmaster.ae.
