UK alternative rock band Muse are set to perform in the capital during this year’s Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
The Grammy-winning group will headline the third after-race concert on Saturday 2nd November at du Arena on Yas Island.
The multi-platinum selling trio – Matt Bellamy, Chris Wolstenholme and Dominic Howard – are one of the biggest rock acts in the world renowned for their theatrical performances and blend of a number of music genres including progressive rock, alternative rock, heavy metal, classical music and electronica.
Muse is expected to perform a selection of their best hits from their six albums including Hysteria, Time is Running Out, Uprising, The 2nd Law, Madness and Supremacy.
UK electronic band Depeche Mode will headline the after-race concert on Sunday November 3rd, Friday’s main act has yet to be announced.
Ticket holders for the 2013 Formula 1 will be able to attend all four concerts as part of the entry ticket privileges, which also include two complimentary tickets for the Thursday and Friday concerts, Golden Circle upgrades, and a 20 percent discount on selected upcoming FLASH events and concerts throughout the year, including Tom Jones, Rihanna, Creamfields Abu Dhabi and The Mubadala World Tennis Championship.
