The Hilton Abu Dhabi is looking to support relief efforts in Syria with the launch of its “Like 4 Good” campaign.
The hotel has pledged to donate AED 1 to Doctors Without Borders for every new ‘like’ they get on their Facebook page this week, with the target AED 2,000 by Sunday.
The proceeds will go toward emergency health kits to more than 200 people.
Doctors Without Borders has been treating Syrian patients in nearby countries and supporting doctors inside Syria since the conflict began.
Wolfgang Maier, general manager for the Hilton Abu Dhabi, said: “We wanted to raise money as well as awareness for the great work Doctors Without Borders is providing in Syria. We hope to provide over 200 emergency health kits with the proceeds from our fundraising.”
