Toe Thompson isn’t the most popular of boys of the strange suburb of Black Falls. But everything changes when a rainbow-coloured rock falls from the sky during a freak storm and hits him on the head. The rock grants wishes to anyone who holds it – and Toe’s popularity grows overnight as word spreads throughout the town.

But being popular turns out to be a real pain: as the rock ricochets from parent to child, Toe and his new-found friends find themselves trying to save the town from being turned upside down – and realising that you really should be careful what you wish for ...
