The British Embassy in Abu Dhabi has launched its ‘12 days of Christmas’ initiative to provide a tongue-in-cheek reminder to residents to behave respectfully during the holidays.
The scheme, which began on 12th December, offers up snippets of advice in the style of the famous festive song, and was launched on the Embassy’s social media site. Each ‘day’ contains advice from friends, family, taxi drivers and even your boss, including “Please keep the noise down” on the sixth day and “Keep social media clean otherwise it can get you into trouble” on day ten.
The campaign ends on the twelfth day with some wise words from the ambassador himself: “Seasons Greetings! Know your limits!”
