HSBC ambassador and ex-England rugby legend Jason Robinson flew into Abu Dhabi over the weekend for the conclusion of the Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Harlequins Junior Rugby Festival

While he was here he took some time out to join rugby coaches from British School Al Khubairat and lead a coaching clinic for over 80 Emirati and expat children.

This clinic saw Emirati children from the Vocational Education Development Centre and students from British School Al Khubairat take to the HSBC Skills zone – an interactive coaching and rugby games area aimed at developing speed, agility, tackling, passing and diving skill sets.

“I am so proud to be able to give something back to the game here in the UAE where the kids have a genuine appetite for rugby,” said Robinson, who has worked with HSBC since he was an ambassador for the British & Irish Lions Tour to South Africa in 2009.
