The session was hosted by Mubadala Development Company (Mubadala) to mark a donation to the organization following the company’s Fit For The Future Ramadan Football Challenge.

The session provided an introduction to football for children from the Special Care Centre. As well as being taught some basic football skills they had the opportunity to meet players Mohammed Jaber and Haboosh Saleh from the UAE Olympic Football Team, received gifts and had their picture taken with the coaching staff.

Amina Taher, Mubadala Group Communications Manager, said, “Mubadala is committed to promoting a healthy lifestyle amongst Abu Dhabi’s community. We’re especially keen to support young people get and active and keep fit, so we’re delighted to offer this unique opportunity for children from the Special Care Centre to learn from top football coaches.”

The donation will go towards the day-to-day running of the school, as well as contributing to centre’s expansion campaign, ‘Donate A Brick’, an initiative that is working towards building a much needed, purpose built school for children with mild to severe disabilities.
