Following the success of the first season of Open Drag Nights held at the Yas Drag Racing Centre over the winter of 2010/11, Yas Marina Circuit will be again hosting a series of drag racing evenings that will allow people to come and race their own cars on the drag strip

Tonight sees the opening round of the 2011/12 series, with racing commencing at 8pm.

The event is open to all cars and bikes that meet the NHRA safety guidelines, at a cost of 300 AED.  Spectators can buy tickets at 30 AED each, at the Yas Drag Racing Centre or by calling 800 YAS (927).
