The Al Ain swimming team have stepped up their training regime this week as they prepare for some important upcoming international competitions

First up, three of Al Ain's junior swimmers (Ahmed Saeed Al Kaabi, Ali Naseeb Al Minhali and Khalid Fahad) will join the UAE National Juniors Swimming Team in Algeria for the Arabic Juniors Championship from 26th-29th September 2011.

Khwitter Al Dhahri, coach of the Al Ain Club Swimming Team, said that their focus will then switch to the World Swimming Championship at the Hamdan Bin Mohamed Bin Rashid Sports Complex from 8th-10th October. The team will have 15 swimmers competing in this event.

Outlining the rest of the season, Al Dhahri then revealed that Al Ain will also take part in the Gulf Games on 19th October and the HH President Cup from 18th-20th November.
