Abu Dhabi Triathlon Team’s Kristin Möller put in a powerhouse performance to grab the Ironman Wales title last weekend, finishing almost 15 minutes ahead of her nearest rival and making it her second consecutive Great Britain win after smashing the Ironman UK female course record in Bolton last month
“It was definitely one of the toughest races I have ever done. The swim leg was changed due to the high winds, so having to start a race in choppy seas really takes it out of you and means you have to pace yourself. I think I did that well,” said Möller.
It is the fourth major Ironman win for the Abu Dhabi Triathlon Team this season after the UK’s Rachel Joyce secured her maiden victory in Lanzarote and team captain Faris Al-Sultan clinched first place in the Frankfurt Ironman.
