Abu Dhabi National Insurance Company (ADNIC) and Yas Marina Circuit have announced the official launch of the “ADNIC Yas Run”, the first 10km running event to be held at Yas Marina Circuit.

The ADNIC Yas Run will be held just two weeks after the 2011 Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on 26th November with runners following the same route as F1 champions Vettel, Hamilton and Alonso around the track.

Participants will have the option of registering for the full 10km run or in a team relay, allowing runners of all abilities to join in. The event will also feature a 3km run for children aged between 12 and 15 and a 1km run for children between eight and 11.

“The ADNIC Yas Run is targeting everyone, from experienced athletes to first-time runners looking to improve their fitness and challenge themselves. We also hope to see families participating alongside the corporate teams,” said Richard Cregan, CEO of Yas Marina Circuit.
