Bushy brows, loads of mascara, and glossy lips ... ladies refresh your 'face' with next season's top beauty trends:

Loaded lashes

If you are a fashion junkie like myself, you would probably notice that most designers' fall collections were highly influenced by the sixties era. What's not to love? Beautiful feminine dresses, perfect hair and, most importantly, glamour make-up.

Apply three to four layers of mascara for dazzling eyes or instead opt for fake lashes. My favourite are by MAC and Inglot. Available at both Marina and Abu Dhabi Mall. As for my favourite Mascara, after trying dozens of brands, I have found the perfect Volume Flash mascara by Rimmel, available in many drugstores around the capital.

Accessorise your pony

The modest ponytail seemed to be everywhere this season, in different sizes and heights. How to rock it next season? Tie it up high, using a statement hair band. Where to find the quirkiest? Studio R in Marina Mall.

Bold pigments

This autumn is not about dark or neutral make-up colors. Instead, the summer's favourite trend - colour blocking, transformed to next season's hit make-up trend. Apply bright eye shadows such as blue and layer up your lipstick for a colour block look.

Gloss it up

Don't toss away your summer's favourite lip gloss yet. Give a new twist to statement fall colors such as red or purple lips and apply a thick layer of gloss on them.

Statement brows

This season brows were made bigger and bolder-emphasis on 'bolder', becoming the main point of numerous make-up artists. Opt for square ends for added edginess. Use your favourite brow pencil or dark eye shadow to fill the gap,s if any.
