filmpreviews02This adorable , timeless children’s tale has been transformed into a lovable cinematic treat in which both children and adults will take great delight.
Flint Lockwood is a disheartened scientist. All his inventions are unwanted or have turned out to be faulty (or both). While trying to solve the problem of world hunger, he manages to create a weather machine with a difference; rather than rain or snow, the weather brings all sorts of foods descending quickly to earth.
Sounds good, but Flint’s invention has other ideas. The scientist suddenly finds himself trying to stop his ill-minded machine from wrecking havoc on the world.
This tale is a wonderful fantasy and features some top computer animation from Sony. But in addition it brings a childlike empathy to a very real and grownup world issue. Parents will rejoice at a fun, moralistic and generally loveable story.

Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs – Dir Phil Lord and Chris Miller, starring Bill Hader, Anna Faris, Andy Samberg
