Austrian jeweller Peter Aloisson has done this kind of thing before – refashioning mobile phones in precious metals and stones – but he’s made the world’s most expensive iPhone 3G. The ‘Kings Button’ is cased in solid 18-carat gold in three colour variations, is encrusted with a total of 138 brilliant-cut diamonds of the best quality, and has a big 6.6 carat diamond for its ‘home’ button. It retails for €1,790,000, about AED8.6 million. We’ve ordered a few for the office, naturally.
