The iPhone is almost getting to be affordable. Etisalat has just trimmed its prices significantly – on Wasel prepaid the iconic Apple phone will now be AED 2,680 rather than AED 3,121, for postpaid contracts it’s AED 2,205 (was AED 2,646). Those prices are for the 8GB version; you can have the 16GB iPhone for AED 3,055 on Wasel or AED 2,575 on contract (previously AED 3,570 and AED 3,090 respectively).
With both models Etisalat is also offering Wasel buyers a 250MB-permonth data package free for six months and one free Wasel SIM card with every device, a deal that itself is worth a tad more than AED 2000.
For postpaid packages, there are still four monthly payment plans. The starter bundle remains at AED 199 per month, but the heavier usage deals have been reduced a little.
