TEDDY BEAR American Nursery teachers received certificates this week in recognition of completing their Diploma in Early Years Childcare and Education.

“At Teddy Bear Nursery, we have a continuous professional development programme with our staff,” said director Diana Wardeh. “In addition to our regular in-house training sessions and workshops on important areas such as speech and language development, story time and circle time activities, six of our staff members have now completed their Diploma in Early Years Childcare and Education. This certification is a recognised UK qualification and is fully accredited by the Council for Awards in Childcare, Health and Education (CACHE).”

Using Teddy Bear Nursery as a training establishment, the Teddy teachers studied alongside a number of other students from nurseries across Abu Dhabi. The courses are run throughout the year by Early Years Education Services, a Dubai-based company with a strong team of qualified trainers who specialise in Early Years Education.

“We are very pleased that we have been able to support all of our staff and those from other nurseries in advancing teachers’ knowledge base and qualifications to such a high level and they must be very proud of their achievements,“ said Wardeh. Well done to Ms Clemmie, Ms Donna, Ms Kate, tutor Clair Watson, Ms Susan, Ms Grace and Ms Jacky.
