Abu Dhabi is hoping to snag some of the Asian tourist market with a promotional campaign.
Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company (ADNEC) is taking a promotional tour to Japan and Korea to showcase Abu Dhabi as a conference destination. The tour will begin on 17th June in Tokyo before visiting Seoul on 19th June.
Director of sales for ADNEC, Robin Miller said: “Korea and Japan present huge opportunities for Abu Dhabi and ADNEC in achieving our objective to attract leading meetings, conferences and exhibitions. Both countries continue to demonstrate strong growth in outbound tourism.”
The campaign hopes to expand Abu Dhabi’s reputation as a convention hub. Miller said: “We recognise the role we play in the development of the emirate in line with the Abu
Dhabi Economic Vision 2030. Our collaborative approach to attracting the world’s leading meetings, conferences, exhibitions and events to Abu Dhabi are a testament towards
this mandate.”
The promotional tour will include exhibits by Tourism Development
and Investment Company, Etihad Airways, Anantara Group, Park Hyatt
Abu Dhabi Hotel and Villas and City Seasons Group.
