Macklemore and Ryan Lewis fans should get ready for Cadillacs in the capital when the award-winning rap duo get set to perform in Abu Dhabi. The city never looked so bright!
FLASH Entertainment announced that the rap duo will be performing at the du Arena on Friday 25th April, on the heels of an extensive international tour in 2013.
Special guests, who will also be performing at the show, have not yet been announced.
The inaugural performance in the capital comes after the performers nabbed the Best New Artist award and three others at the Grammys last month. The twosome has built a wide crossover audience with their innovative lyrics and tongue-in-cheek style.
Controversy struck the hip-hop duo earlier this month, when fellow Grammy nominee Drake called out Macklemore for his consolatory text to rapper Kendrick Lamar about their recent award wins. After Macklemore posted his text message on Instagram stating Kendrick should have won, Drake commented that the message “felt cheap” and was unnecessary.
