| Care for construction workers |

Emirates Mobile Hospital, in cooperation with the Zayed Giving Initiative, is doing the rounds of area construction sites and labour camps outside the city centre, providing medical treatment for workers at no cost. The mobile unit, which focuses on occupational health and environmental safety, aims to both diagnose and treat workers while at the same time screening for infectious diseases and raising awareness about health issues among workers. Dr. Adel al Shameri, executive chairman of Zayed Giving Initiative and executive director of Emirates Mobile Hospital, indicated that the inclusion of staff members who are fluent in a variety of languages will facilitate the treatment of the workers.
