Big Boys Toys 2015 promises an exclusive preview of the latest motor, adventure, lifestyle and digital toys available Here’s a sneak peek of the wonderful and sometimes, well, pointless things you can expect at the show…
Do you want to experience four days of lean, mean, million dollar machines? Then be sure to pick up some tickets to Big Boys Toys 2015, the ultimate luxury super show featuring the hottest wheels, gears and gadgets from 18th to 21st November at Adnec.
The show’s line-up this year features everything from lavish and rare motorbikes and supercars to interactive displays. Visitors are also treated to product demonstrations and an experimental zone where you can try out the latest technologies.
de Macross Epique GT1
Meet the highly anticipated de Macross Epique GT1, a supercharged sports car designed by Keyser J Hur. It’s the first South Korean street-legal sports car. The multi-million dollar machine will make its UAE entrance at the exhibition.
Valorado River Tone
Play your music in style – if your style is 24 karats of solid gold, that is. The River Tone is a 60kg, $9million sound system designed by Michio Sakamoto. The only one of its kind in the world, the sound system is equipped with Bluetooth to play tunes wirelessly or can be hooked up to your television or computer.
UFO Chair
A masterpiece of furniture, the UFO chair is inspired by space capsules that need to be strong enough to enter Earth’s atmosphere. Does it sound too otherworldly for you? It probably is: it retails for about
AED 200,000. The body of the chair is made from a single piece of carbon fibre while the cushion is made from memory foam and covered in high quality leather.
Schiller S1-C
Can you run on water? Well, not quite, but now you can cycle. Also making its debut, the Schiller S1-C is a new water bike that will allow users to cycle on the surface. Designed for use on fresh water lakes or coastal seas, the bike can reach speeds of up to 11kph.
Kowa paro
It’s adorable, it’s fluffy and it’s so realistic you’ll think its real… But it’s not. Also, we know it is not remotely manly, but hey even the chaps have a soft side. The Paro is a robotic baby harp seal that responds to human touch and speech. It has five different sensors, allowing it to react to people and the environment. Developed in Japan, the Paro will be swimming overseas to the Middle East for the first time for the exhibition.
