Returning for its second year, the Abu Dhabi Electronics Shopper is back after sparking one of the most popular exhibitions the capital has seen. Get set for a high voltage event offering all your gadgetry needs

Abu Dhabi has become a magnet for technology with consumer rates increasing annually as residents invest in tablets, televisions and more. And with a plethora of malls and stand-alone stores, where does a digital devotee start? We recommend the Abu Dhabi Electronics Shopper (ADES) exhibition.

Running from the 26th February to 1st March, the big guns of the digital world will descend on the capital to show you their latest products, unique deals and of course, exclusive prizes. Teeming with tech all under one roof, the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) will be the place for you to find that digital item of your dreams. Director of DOME Exhibitions Dony Cyril is excited about the return of the exhibition and all that it has to offer.

“The electronics retail industry has been one of the fastest growing industries in Abu Dhabi in recent years,” said Cyril. “The remarkable success of the 2013 Abu Dhabi Electronics Shopper has encouraged us to host the second edition on a much larger scale and over twice the exhibition space. We are confident the event will prove to be another strong crowd-puller and emerge as one of the largest gatherings of the region’s leading ICT retailers and suppliers.”

Over 100,000 visitors are expected to turn up over the four days of the show; which aims to be a one-stop-shop for the latest tech innovations. Samsung, Huawei, Sharp, and Philips are just a few of the superpowers gracing the show. Antoine Georges, managing director of DOME Exhibitions, believes the desire from retailers to exhibit, along with a hunger from the capital’s residents for a bargain, will make the exhibition an ongoing annual success.

“Abu Dhabi is today one of the world’s wealthiest economies,” said Georges. “The capital city is an ideal choice for holding mega consumer electronics and technology exhibitions of phenomenal dimensions and reach. Judging by the overwhelming response we have received from both retailers and bargain hunters, we hope to make the ADES Abu Dhabi’s must-visit annual consumer electronics festival.”
