The father of four-year-old cancer patient Yasmin Mahsoub would like to thank the people of Abu Dhabi for donating money to try and save his daughter’s life.
Last week Abu Dhabi Week published an appeal for young Yasmin, who is suffering from a rare aggressive form of cancer untreatable in the UAE. Yasmin’s parents asked the Abu Dhabi public to help pay the AED 1.2 million bill for overseas treatment – since then
AED 25,000 has been donated.
“I would like to thank everyone who has supported us,” said Yasmin’s father Sherif Mahsoub. “There are so many good people in Abu Dhabi and I am incredibly grateful for their generosity.
“We need to travel to Switzerland as soon as possible because Yasmin’s condition is worsening. We are so afraid of what will happen if we don’t go, but we cannot leave yet as we don’t have enough money.”
