A two Michelin-starred chef is opening his first restaurant in Abu Dhabi.
On 1st October, award-winning chef Michael Caines will open his first restaurant outside the UK, Pearls by Michael Caines, at Jumeirah at Etihad Towers.
Michael, who’s led Gidleigh Park in Devon, UK, for more than 20 years, is one of Britain’s most acclaimed chefs with a reputation for creating exciting, modern cuisine that champions local and seasonal ingredients.
“It is a real privilege and honour to open my first restaurant outside the UK in Abu Dhabi,” Michael said.
“It is a spectacular opportunity and I am delighted to be working with the Jumeirah Group. The location of this stunning restaurant, with its independent entrance, will make it one of Abu Dhabi’s top dining destinations.”
With floor-to-ceiling open glass walls offering views of Abu Dhabi’s islets and surrounding sea, the restaurant – which used to be home to fine-dining seafood spot Scotts of London – also boasts a private landing jetty for boat and yacht access
