Abu Dhabi’s latest golfing event helped raise over AED 600,000 for charity.
The Abu Dhabi Invitational, hosted by Abu Dhabi Sports Council at Yas Links, saw guests and golfers raise funds for Emirates Red Crescent through various activities including a ‘Keepy-Uppy Challenge’ and a silent auction. The auction included unique items such as a pair of golf shoes from Rory McIlroy and a painting of the Irish World No. 3 by renowned French artist Remi Bartoche.
Playing alongside McIlroy at the pro-am was rising amateur Bryson DeChambeau, Felipe Aguilar, Emirati Ahmed Al Musharrekh and Thailand’s Thongchai Jaidee.
