Marvellous Martin

History: Martin was found under a temporary generator at Zayed Sports City football Stadium during the build for the FIFA Club World Cup event in early November 2009. He was small and very grubby but was adopted by the FIFA onsite Event Management team.

Personality: Martin is very loyal and loves being around people. He is very good at communicating that he is hungry and tends to seek out where the food is stored or will sit patiently by the food bowl until he gets fed. Martin has crazy and calm times during the day and loves attention. He is very playful and affectionate and although he likes to nibble now and again, he is a little softie really. He also likes to suck on fabric, and purrs and settles the most when he is lying flat out on his front sucking on his blanket and padding with his front feet!
