Manchester United Soccer Schools (MUSS) in Abu Dhabi has devised the ideal activity to keep children busy, active and happy during the upcoming spring school holidays with the launch of a new four-day intensive football course

Taking place from Sunday 25th March to Wednesday 28th March inside the air-conditioned facility the Dome@Rawdhat, the programme will be delivered by the team of accredited MUSS coaches and based on the principles and methods employed by the famous Manchester United Academy.

Open to children of all abilities, and split into age categories seven to nine and ten to 13 years old, the course has been created to coincide with the March holiday and will teach key techniques such as receiving, passing and dribbling, as well as help to enhance physical, mental and social development off the field.

The programme will feature 12 hours of on-field coaching time with each session dedicated to learning different soccer techniques, culminating in an exciting tournament on the final day.  Every child signed up will go forward into a prize draw to win an exclusive photo signed by Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs.

MUSS Spring Course Schedule, 25th to 28th March

“With a break in between our ten-week module, we thought this was an ideal time to offer this new course to help keep children busy and active during the holiday period,” said Andy Dixon, head coach of Manchester United Soccer Schools in Abu Dhabi.

“It’s a great opportunity for children interested in the programme to give it a try over four days where they can learn new skills, make new friends and become part of the ever-expanding MUSS family in the UAE”.

All players enrolled in the spring programme will take part in the MUSS series of skills challenges, in which the two highest point scorers on the course will go forward to take part in the Abu Dhabi Skills Challenge Final, with the winners receiving an all expenses paid trip to Manchester to represent Abu Dhabi at the World Skills Final at the end of the year..

One child will also win a free place on the next MUSS ten-week programme – Learn to Attack with Flair the United way – starting on 7th April 2012 which teaches the skills of Manchester United’s dynamic trio of strikers, Wayne Rooney, Javier Hernandez and Dimitar Berbatov.

The popularity of the MUSS programmes continues to grow since its launch in the UAE capital in 2010 in a partnership with Reem Investments, and the number of sign-ups grows with each new course.

Registration for the spring course is now open and costs AED 995 which includes an exclusive MUSS Nike training kit with shirt, shorts and socks as well as healthy snacks every day, an MUSS certificate, drawstring bag and water bottle.  To book a place call 02 449 8480 or visit www.manutdsoccerschools.ae.
