It’s meant to be all fun in the sun for seven friends, kicking at a lake-side Louisiana cabin for the weekend

When one of them gets half an arm ripped off, they all assume it was a wake-boarding accident they hustle to get him to the hospital on the other side of the lake. Unfortunately for them, the lake is full of hundreds of flesh-eating sharks – what are the chances, eh? Trying to jump on the Piranhas 3D bandwagon, this film takes itself too seriously and doesn’t have enough gore to really make it a contender. Not bad bubblegum for the brain though.
