Based on the graphic novel of the same name, Tamara Drewe – an erstwhile teenage ugly duckling now a smouldering femme fatale – is a London journalist who returns to her old village to oversee the sale of her family home. A fantastic cast putting in top-notch performances combined with an intriguingly well-written script make this a clever, astute and beautifully observed comedy.
