moderndaymoralsThis rom-com may not exactly challenge the mind, but its fun and fluffy plot will most certainly amuse.
McConaughey plays Connor Mead, a fully-committed bachelor who loves nothing more than having fun, freedom, and plenty of women in his life. On the eve of his younger brother’s wedding, Connor’s efforts to convince his sibling that the single life is much better are interrupted when he gets a rather unusual visit – from his dead Uncle.
The former king of womanising (Douglas) delivers Connor a wakeup call as he explains that a life of multiple ladies isn’t the path to happiness. Cue the ghosts of girlfriends past, present and future as they scare Connor into realising that his first and only love is worth far more than a life of cheating.

Ghosts of Girlfriends Past – Dir Mark Waters, starring Matthew McConaughey, Jennifer Garner, Michael Douglas

This funny and subtle moral tale turns a classic plot (Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol) into a modern and humorous look at love. McConaughey is a true star of romantic comedies and his latest role will have you laughing along from start to finish.
