And now the bad news: the Kunooz Card is no more. It was Abu Dhabi Mall’s loyalty card, and judging by the info on the Mall’s website (where it is still promoted) the deal was pretty terrific – for a one-time AED15 you got discounts of up to 40 percent, redeemable points for shopping, instant prizes on every purchase, and a monthly draw to win AED10,000 in gift vouchers. “But there was no call for it,” said the pleasant young lady on the service desk when we asked. It’s still on the website, but it seems we can ignore that.
