Action man Washington is known for playing the sensitive guy with a hard exterior thanks to roles in films like Man on Fire and Unstoppable and his latest flick won’t disappoint his fans.
Adapted from the TV series of the same name, The Equalizer follows Robert McCall (Washington), a man with a mysterious past. Living a quiet life working in a hardware store, McCall believes he has put his past behind him.
But then he meets Teri (Moretz), a young girl under the control of a violent Russian gangster. Knowing the girl is in danger, McCall’s previous persona rears its ugly head and his desire for helping others takes over.
Using his secret skills, McCall seeks vengeance on the gangster to help save Teri. Coming out of ‘retirement’, McCall’s desire for seeking justice returns as he steps up to the plate as The Equalizer, the man people call when they have nowhere else to turn.
The Equalizer hits theatres Thursday 25th September.
